Dr. DeTerriyon Robinson, PT, DPT

Dr. Meg Crowley PT, DPT

Dr. Meg Crowley is from Houston, Texas. She first moved to Shreveport in 2009-2013 to attend Centenary College of Louisiana, where she was a member and captain of the Centenary Gymnastics team. From there, Meg moved to Dallas, TX to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Women's University. After graduating in 2016, Meg was looking to get out of Texas for a bit, so she moved up to Chicago, IL for her first physical therapy job. In the suburbs of Chicago, she worked and managed an outpatient clinic specializing in orthopedics. Then she took a job working at a small business in the city located in Lincoln Park, Chicago. During that time she continued to develop her skills in orthopedics, manual therapy, and received her certification in dry needling through the Integrative Dry Needling. Meg also expanded her practice scope by taking Pelvic Floor 1 and 2B from Herman and Wallace. In Fall of 2022, Meg decided it was time to move back closer to home, and accepted the position as the Head Women's Gymnastics Coach at Centenary College of Louisiana. When Dr. Crowley is not working at SALT, she enjoys working out, reading, and walking her dog.

Peyton Whatley, PTA

Peyton is from Benton, LA. She began her PTA career in 2021 after graduating from the Physical Therapist Assistance program at Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC). Peyton has been around sports since middle school and loved the process of getting athletes back to playing the sport they loved as she was a student athletic trainer. It wasn't until the summer of 2018 when she had a personal encounter with the therapy world by seeing the process of the therapists helping her grandpa get back to walking and getting him stronger in order to go home to his family! "From the moment I saw all the therapists help my grandpa, I knew physical therapy was where I wanted to be"! When Peyton is not at SALT she enjoys spending time with her family and fiancé, Jacob and is excited to marry him in December.

Robyn Slagle, PTA

Robyn Slagle, PTA, began her Physical Therapy journey after graduating from BPCC in 2004. She began working in Southeast Arkansas in the cotton Delta working in a rural hospital setting, working Outpatient, Pediatrics, Geri-psych, and Home Health, with the occasional Wound Care. She then got 'itchy feet' wanting to move around/travel and moved up to Washington State doing primarily Home Health. Which was quite a bit different area culturally, as well as climate, than the South. After working in Washington for 6 years, she moved up to Alaska to be close to her sister and her family, transferring Home Health offices to Anchorage. Despite the beauty of the state and getting to witness the Aurora Borealis, (after her family moved away) Robyn moved back to Washington State. There she worked for one of the local hospitals, getting experience with more Outpatient & Pediatrics, as well as Aquatic therapy (which was fun, especially getting in with the kiddos) and beginning to work with the Pelvic Floor therapists. Then in 2017, life and the Big Man Upstairs said it was time to move back 'home' to Sibley, Louisiana, where she worked in Mansfield & Natchitoches in Outpatient therapy. But after COVID hit, she then worked more Home Health in the rural areas surrounding Shreveport & Bossier. Then in April of 2024, she began her SALT journey. She is very excited to work with those coming here to help them in their path to recovery!

Shelby Rhodes
Front Office Manager

Shelby Rhodes is our office manager for SALT. Shelby resides in Benton, LA where she has lived her whole life. Her love for physical medicine evolved from her passion for softball, a sport Shelby played competitively for a little over 11 years. Shelby has earned two associate degrees from Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC). In 2014, Shelby was awarded her Criminal Justice degree. As a young child, Shelby knew she wanted to pursue a career in the legal field, most days she'd tell you she wanted to be a lawyer. God opened her door to her healthcare career when she started her first "big girl" job at Willis-Knighton Health System (WKHS). In 2016, Shelby was awarded her Business Administration degree and a technical competency in basic management. Promoting into management while still working for WKHS, she also pursued in achieving her technical diploma in medical office specialist specializing in billing and reimbursement in 2017. Almost 4 years with WKHS, Shelby was offered an opportunity to try a new venture in the Insurance industry in which she focused on for several years full time. She still maintains an active insurance producers license (Life, H&A, Property and Casualty) in the state of Louisiana. In 2020, Shelby went back to healthcare as an operational manager for Ochsner LSU Health (OLHS) in Shreveport and worked for them for 2.5 years before starting her new current role. Shelby passionately serves NLA working with chronic pain patients and their providers to help provide non opioid pain relief options. In April of 2024, upon divine intervention, we welcomed Shelby to our SALT family. While she is not physically here in clinic everyday, Shelby is always in the background and there to help. Being able to come back in to the clinic side of healthcare and build relationships that she gets to see weekly, and to be able to put her knowledge to good use has filled a part of what she truly missed from her days at WKHS and OLHS. Shelby has been married to her best friend, Jacob, for 8 years. They have two beautiful children, Mati Mae (12) and Jace (1). They have 3 fur babies: Buck, Bullet and Barbie. When Shelby is not working, you can find her spending quality time with her family and friends, in the outdoors, or capturing pictures of others as she has served our community for over 12 years as a photographer. A current student at Northwestern State University, Shelby is finishing her Bachelor's in business administration and is a senior looking to graduate by 2025.
